The older brother is a hunter, the younger brother (rarely a sister) is at home. When he learns that bird girls are coming down to the youngest, the elder teaches the younger one what he should do so that the elder poem
al makes one of them a wife. The wife finds feather clothes and flies away (often the younger brother gives them to her in simplicity), the husband goes in search.
