The

groom, the giver of well-being, tells the girl who comes to do work that she is unable to do herself. The groom's mother does the job, the girl is accepted by the groom. See K56A motif. In addition to chum salmon: the work is done by tiny women sitting in their mother-in-law's ear or behind their ear.
