A woman hides some of her children (rarely all) or some pets from God. According to him, hidden children become either poor or creatures of inhuman nature, and hidden pets become wild. {The definition of plot 758 in Uther 2004 only deals with cases where hidden children turn into people of low social status, not spirits, but references include traditions in which children turn into spirits}.
