K99. Untold dream, ATU 725.

.14.-.17. (.22.) .23.24.26.-.34.36.38.

A person dreams about an upcoming celebration for him or a member of his family (rarely: he dreams about it in reality). The dream is either bought by another person who becomes the protagonist of the story, or the person who sees hides its content from everyone, or he is persecuted for excessive conceit, as evidenced by sleep content. The meaning of the dream is revealed at the end of the story. Often a young man reigns, marries the heiresses of the two kingdoms (in a dream they were two suns or the sun and the moon).
