Characters with varying numbers of eyes remain watching the hero or heroine. He or she puts his eyes to sleep one by one but forgets the last one.

{The designation of plot No. 511 in Uther 2004 as "One-Eye, Two-Eyes, Three-Eyes" does not mean that the texts mentioned in ATU necessarily have a corresponding motive; in South Asia, in In China and in the traditions of the Mediterranean, as well as many Slavs, it is likely that it does not exist. It is more likely to be available in Central Europe, although it also requires verification}.
