A man and a giant (devil, predator, robber) agree to test their strength by crushing a stone. A man presses a piece of cheese, an egg, etc., the giant believes that he has a strong man in front of him. {ATU 1060, without specifying this in the definition, includes options in which the character squeezes the brain (intestines, etc.) out of the ground; where we have been able to test, we do not include such traditions}.
